Blonde Ambition

Iain & Ben Sorensen sat down to talk about the story behind IAB’s Current Single ‘Blonde Ambition.’ Make sure you wait till the end for some extra laughs…

Originally performed by Rodney Crowell on his Cicadas album, this is the first time this track has ever been covered, and as usual Iain Archibald Band respectfully made it their own.

With a solid rock feel, and intrepid use of cowbell, as you hear it, this track has been part of the bands live set for a while. So it comes as no surprise that it was recorded in 1 take and wasn’t actually meant to be on the album. The results were so good, the band so tight, and the mix so strong it could not be omitted!

Iain Archibald Band filmed the video clip for Blond Ambition featuring Cassidy McGill, including the band's edgy rock and playful spirit they are known for, including cameos from each of the band's members - all totally tongue in cheek.
